Statement

My work focuses on the exploration of matter as visual language through an experimental search of the organic form. Taking painting and drawing as a starting point, I rely on chaos and order to create unexpected associations among different elements to evoke a material presence in constant transformation.

Textures, shapes and color are combined in my work to build a visual illusion that contains the possibility of the real. My pieces are conceived as hybridisations that open the door to new territories, living in-between the anatomical and the botanical realm, the tangible and the imaginary, the intimate and the strange.
